Trinity is a church without walls
In 1966 Trinity lost its building to Interstate 94 construction. The congregation voted to use its resources in active outreach to the Cedar-Riverside community rather than investing into a new church building. The lack of conventional church walls frees us to tear down walls that can separate us from effective service to God and each other.

Third ThursdaysEvery third Thursday at 6:00 p.m., a small group gathers at Trinity's office for conversation on a theological topic, and a light supper of bread, cheese, fruit and wine.

Prayer Shawl KnittersTrinity's prayer shawl group meets every 4th Monday at the home of a Trinity member. As shawls are knitted or crocheted, prayers are woven in for the recipient who may have experienced illness or surgery, loss of a loved one, financial problems or other life challenges.

INTERFAITH RELATIONSHIPS
Trinity partners with neighborhood organizations and fellow faith communities to be a voice of welcome in our largely immigrant and refugee community of Cedar-Riverside.
|
Our activities include:
- Sharing coffee and tea at a neighborhood mosque after prayers, just to say "we're glad you're here"
- Biweekly interfaith conversations held in Cedar Commons, below Trinity's offices
